It is an undeniable fact that whatever thing is popular amongst people, it gets trolled. People talk about it in various ways. Everyone thinks and percept in his own way. It could have been in a positive manner or can go adverse as well most of the time.
Same thing happened with one of the leading chatting app of this time, “WHATSAPP”. The rumor is being spread all around that the Text messages, Voice messages and videos are being tracked & recorded. It can be clearly seen in the below picture that what does the ticks mean on Whatsapp.
The single tick (with Black Color) indicates that the message has been sent by the messenger to the recipient but it is not read yet. The double tick in Black color shows that the message has been delivered but not yet read till it turns Blue. It is considered to be the regular practice of this messaging app. But things got changed when the rumor spread that now THREE Ticks despite of TWO are being shown to some users.
The additional RED Tick shows the intervention of Government's secret department for the tracking and monitoring purpose. The rumors say that THREE Blue Ticks point that the message has been read by the user and the Government officials and it seems safe to spread. The tension starts when the RED Tick appears along with TWO Blue ticks and it means that the Secret officials have read the message and it is not SAFE to send, read or spread. This rumor is mostly spread in the region of India under the claim that Whatsapp has introduced new Communication rules.
One more interesting thing is that this viral message claims that the label "Forwarded many times" once appears then all calls will be recorded and social media accounts will also be monitored. It is said that the Government has taken this initiative in order to minimize the spread of negative messages against the Government or any other institution, cause or an individual.
However, the chat app (Whatsapp) authorities confirms that there is no any such rules have been announced and this is completely a False news. The users of this app are requested not to spread this news in your social circle.
